Sessions confirmed
ABPI Code workshop
We're thrilled to be welcoming Code Expert, Jayne Packham, for an exclusive Code Compliance workshop on 15th October, where she'll be dishing out practical advice to help you embrace the ABPI Code with confidence while staying compliant.
As ever with Jayne's workshops, this promises to be a lively, interactive session with helpful guidance for sharing medicines information compliantly.

Lessons learned putting QR codes into practice
Following the game-changing update to Clause 12 of the ABPI Code in 2024, there have been many questions around how to use QR codes for sharing prescribing information. One year on, we'll be welcoming Richard Blackwell, Medical Lead and Jenni Harrison, Marketing Partner (both Roche) to look at learnings from using QR codes following this key update.

Truth in Treatment: Helping healthcare professionals and patients overcome misinformation
In an age where engagement can trump fact, it's never been more critical to equip HCPs with trustworthy and accurate information during their patient treatment.
This exclusive panel will be bringing together healthcare experts to discuss these challenges at work, explain what they are really looking for in their information-seeking journeys and discuss the impact of generative AI tools.
We're excited to announce Nishali Patel (National Digital Health Lead, NHS), Joseph Williams (Lead Pharmacist and Chair of The British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA)) and Iram Husain (Senior Medicines Advice pharmacist, SPS) to the panel, collectively offering a range of perspectives on the topic.

Answering HCPs’ questions about medicines information with SRDs
Understanding HCP search behaviours and serving them with accessible scientific content on-demand is critical to the Medical Information function.
In this co-presentation, Pfizer's Aqid Iqbal will be sharing his company's success story with SRD (Scientific Response Document) searches, while Datapharm's Ian Hamilton will be sharing insight on HCP searches in the UK and Germany.
